Dear Telecentre Network Manager,

The Steering Committee of Telecentre-Europe has been working over the last few months to develop a proposal outlining the recommended legal formation for Telecentre-Europe. Please see the attached document and its associated Annexes for your consultation prior to the Istanbul Summit. The consultation period lasts until 5pm on 6th October 2009.

Concurrently with this consultation, the Steering Committee is seeking legal advice from the European Centre for Non-Profit Law, and will issue the final proposal on the 9th October. In Istanbul this final recommendation will be reviewed, and those present will be asked to sign a Memorandum of Understanding to indicate that their organisation would be willing to be a formal member once established. Those who are not present in Istanbul will be invited to sign and return an MOU electronically.

Please therefore review the attached documents and please let us know your views by the 6th Oct on the proposal to create a legal entity for Telecentre-Europe.

Many thanks
Ian Clifford, Gabi Barna
