Formal membership will be launched in early 2009. The underneath information is for your consultation. For comments, please respond to the discussion Membership proposal.

Membership overview
There will be three types of formal members:

Network Members
open to telecentres networks from across Europe:
•    Commitment to vision, mission and values of telecentre-europe
•    Commitment to active participation in knowledge sharing;
•    Commitment to providing high-quality e-inclusion training and services to local community.
•    Commitment to participate in annual survey mapping the reach and impact of telecentre members
•    Voice in the governance of the telecentre-europe Network

Individual Members
open to individual centres and practitioners from across Europe:
•    Commitment to vision, mission and values of telecentre-europe
•    Personal/professional engagement in e-inclusion work;
•    Commitment to active participation in knowledge sharing;

Associate Members
open to funding, government, commercial and development organisations, and individual practitioners, individual telecentres and telecentre networks from outside of Europe:
•    Commitment to vision, mission and values of telecentre-europe
•    Contribute to the development of the network

An annual formal membership fee will be applied for Network and Individual members. There will be a minimum fee of one Euro. The fee payable will be set by each formal member. There will be an online formal membership system developed and launched in early 2009.
