Telecentre-Europe .... we were the last to leave the conference ....

Indeed we were the last ones to leave!!! Telecentre-Europe organised the workshop "What's next for the 292,000,000?" at the end of the eInclusion conference in Vienna. We had some very, very interesting discussions and we were struggling to finish on time with what we thought was really the most important theme of the conferenece: what will we have to do in order to ensure that all those who are not connected today get a real opportunity to participate in our knowledge society.

Telecentre-Europe update: coming soon ... a public launch for the network!!!

Hello all

We hope that you have all had a good summer. We would like to give you a very short update on a number of exciting developments with the Telecentre-Europe network

1. The Steering Committee have met in June and September to develop the plans for the organisation, and the governance and network membership documents. These will all be published next week on the Ning website.

2. The Staff Exchange programme is being launched on Ning on 14 October 2008.

Hi, Gabi, what a great job you have done, thanks for the attached documents and the picture of a tecentre-Europe. Please tell me if we have a list of all telecentre-Europe members and the number of telecentres in every country somewhere? Or should I gather the info from everybody? This could be very useful to all of us speaking about our participation in the telecentre-Europe here at home at different levels. Thanks for your advice in advance.RGDS,Loreta
