People’s Voice Media is a not for profit social enterprise and charity that increases social inclusion through the use of ICT. People's Voice Media (PVM) is committed to bringing technology to the heart of digitally deprived communities and using the networking capabilities of social media to increase social cohesion and empowerment through its community reporters programme

What ICT or e-Skill training programs does your organization offer?
Offers non accredited training in the area of social media as well as Level 1 and 2 training programmes on digital media, ICT and volunteering with pathways to progression to employment through our PVM employment agency and links with media companies including the BBC or into Further or Higher Education through our links with Salford College and the University of Salford.
What other training services does your organization provides?
Develops and trains local community reporters who attend further training at the BBC, and markets and distributes local content through a variety of web based channels, including 14 websites, internet radio and TV and social networking sites, and supports dialogue between agencies and communities though online activities. Our Community Reporters programme uses low level devices (technology in the pocket) to capture content, we develop Social Media Centres to support “community anchors”, we are developing a Press Agency to sell content through the “Reuters of the community” and can undertake on line community activities e.g. text campaigns, on line novel
Other services and activities:
People’s Voice Media offer consultation to statutory organisations and agencies. The consultation consists of Action Research which includes Community members trained to report on a given topic through our community reporters programme, and other social media activities. Event-based consultation uses video booths, internet radio, social media based focus groups and On line consultation includes email lists, social networking, blogs, questionnaires and online diaries. We also undertake social reporting at conferences and offer ICT procurement and technical support services
