What we do as an organization (100-word description)
The mission of EOS (Educating for an Open Society) in Romania is to bridge the digital divide by providing opportunities for all members of society to acquire the skills and abilities required for information-handling and knowledge creation, essential for participation in the development of democracy and open society i.e. a Knowledge Society. Social and economic development depends on the ability of individuals to access and exploit information in order to create and communicate knowledge.
