European e-Inclusion Awards 2008
If you are involved in a project or an initiative that can help fight digital divide you have a chance to become a European Champion!
European Commission promotes recognizing and showcasing excellence and good practice in using information, communication and digital technology that addresses social and digital exclusion of different target groups in Europe:
- Ageing Well Award
- Marginalized Young People
- Geographic Inclusion
- Cultural Diversity
- Digital Literacy
- e-Accessibility
- Inclusive Public Services
Please visit the official web site for further details and registration: www.e-inclusionawards.eu and fill out the Registration Form in BLOCK CAPITALS. Be Part of It!
The Awards are a part of the EC’s international “e-Inclusion. Be part of it!” campaign which promotes activities, projects and research in the field of using broadly understood ICT technologies to fight the social and digital exclusion of different target groups in Europe (amongst others: minority ethnic groups and recent migrant groups). Taking part in this prestigious Initiative does not require any financial contribution while being a great way of bringing out and sharing the ideas and practices of the field to wider audiences for recognition, public attention and – of course - a chance of being awarded for the good work.
For more info please check: www.e-inclusionawards.eu . The official Awards’ website is also where persons/organizations can register their interest, which in turn allows the download of the Entry Form and lets the assistants contact prospective nominees with help and support in regards to their participation.
Should there be any questions or problems please don't hesitate to contact the Award's team on: +44 (0) 207 234 3549
