What we do as an organization (100-word description)

Association for Regional Development and Entrepreneurship was officially created in January 2007 and at this moment is in the course of legal registration. Members of Association cooperate together for 3 years within the framework of few international projects encouraging management of small and medium enterprises. Most of members are project managers, directors, experts (management, human resources, regional development, IT, law, etc)
The main goal is to increase the efficiency and competitiveness of the Polish economy by supporting SME development and human capital development.
Other goals:
1. to support local development in Poland by means of promoting entrepreneurship (including entrepreneurship on the part of people, companies, local authorities and NGOs) and increasing the flexibility of the employment market (through cooperation with various partners: public, social, private etc.)
2. to carry out activity focused on increasing the efficiency and competitiveness of the Polish economy and thereby transforming it into a knowledge-based economy (in particular, through the highly effective use of human capital, materials, energy and the environment, as well as by increasing use of modern IT tools);
3. to support and promote non-vocational training as regards skills necessary as regards achievement of aims 1 and 2, and above all e-skills (both amongst specialists and society at large);
4. universal propagation of information and appropriate activity as regards increasing the civilizational level of Poland and its regions, taking into account the principles of sustainable development;
5. promotion and support of infrastructure development, including that of network infrastructure.

- Social Partner in EFEZ.EU - promotion of Flexible Forms of Employment for small and medium-sized companies, project financed by ESF (www.efez.eu )
- National co-organizer of Intel Berkeley Technology Entrepreneurship Challenge – competition for innovative projects (http://www.businessplancompetition.info/ )
- National organizer of 13th International Telework Workshop (www.itw2008.pl )
- Telework for Parents – cooperation with Skype
