What we do as an organization (100-word description)
is a Non - Governmental Organization founded by the young for the young. It was founded in November 2003, as a result of the efforts of a group of teachers from Sannicolau Mare. It’s purpose was to take part at the local development taking place in the V Western Region. From the very beginning, our Organization had a lot of initiative ideas and made them happen. Here are some examples: The “Another happy child in the Easter” campaign, The “With us, for them” campaign – at it’s four edition, The “ PRO MURES 2005” Regional Folklore Festival,
The educational campaign( educational market) : “A future for my child”, etc.
Du to our country joining the European Community, our activity has diversified. Starting with the 2nd of March 2007, ATPD is the beneficiary of an e- Center “Preparation in the Technology of Information”, through The Microsoft Unlimited Potential program.
From June 2007,ATPD is an active member of an network that deals with the development of adults club, a project financed through the Gruntvig program, sponsorship obtained with the help of The Rural Assistance Center. Starting this august we will have rural-tourism trainers through the Myagrotour.eu. ATPD has the been invited to take part, starting next year, in a network (Rural Net) that has 26 Romanian Non - governmental Organizations, ATPD is also one of the founding members of the E-center network developed through The Microsoft Unlimited Potential program.
Concerning the development of the human resources, ATPD has approximately 50 members and active volunteers, and from this members and volunteers, we have:1 project manager trainer, 2 Young Unemployed Councils, 5 IT instructors, 2 Rural - Tourism Development trainers and 1 Public Debate Specialist.
