What we do as an organization (100-word description)
Objectives of Tampere City Library's Information Society Services:
-To provide all residents of Tampere with a possibility to learn digital literacy and to use online services.
-To prevent social exclusion concerning several population groups, such as immigrants, the unemployed and the elderly improving their employment possibilities and their quality of life.
-To encourage residents to participate in the democratic process.
-To have the right to contact companies and public administrative offices by using the new media, most of all, the Internet.
We consist of two NetSquares and the Internet-bus

What ICT or e-Skill training programs does your organization offer?
Personal guidance in using computers and Internet.
Courses in using computers and Internet. Courses in special themes. e.g. Skype, Social media, information security, picture processing etc.
What other training services does your organization provides?
Courses and guidance for the library staff.
Other services and activities:
NetSquares are situated in branch libraries, which have all library services.
