What we do as an organization (100-word description)
Bangladesh Institute of ICT in Development (BIID) is a distinct initiative to support development and promotion of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) based services in Bangladesh. The distinction of BIID lies in clear identification of ICT market development opportunities through continuous knowledge management, innovation and development.

BIID has taken initiative bring the benefits of ICT to the farmers community in different location in Bangladesh through e-Krishok, an ICT based knowledge sharing network of farmers. It is evident that limited access of farmers to relevant information and services makes them suffer productivity constraints and vulnerable to crop related diseases. Also farmers lack marketing and input related issues, which will be addressed by e-Krishok initiative
