1. 400 students were further trained to suit the e Citizen examination computer literacy knowledge. They were made to after for this examination after having paid only examination fees. This project was implemented in Hambantota district. after this project while selecting a regional computer course we were very careful whether it suited the international certificate status. as such training institute and the training courses quality has been enhanced.
2. A Gmail group has been formed by the ICT Mini Campus. Although the rural youth have obtained computer literacy they are scared of internet. The reason fot it as we have identified is that e mail and internet are meant for the people with English language efficiency. Removing this obstacle we used Sinhala and Tamil unicode. as a result employment opportunities and educational opportunities information were provided to our group in local language.
