On 1st December 2008 the European Commission adopted the Communication "Towards an accessible information society". This has now been followed up on 31 March 2009 when the Council of the European Union adopted its conclusions on the Communication .

Is anyone going to be at the forum in Paris at the end of the month - Im going to be speaking on Mobile Phones - Form and Function - Issues in choosing a handset for disabled users - It would be great to meet up with anyone from the community and chat through areas of interest
Im also in Brussels next week for the eInclusion meeting on assistive technology - if anyone is there again it would be great to put names to faces to people.
