Telecentre-Europe .... we were the last to leave the conference ....

Indeed we were the last ones to leave!!! Telecentre-Europe organised the workshop "What's next for the 292,000,000?" at the end of the eInclusion conference in Vienna. We had some very, very interesting discussions and we were struggling to finish on time with what we thought was really the most important theme of the conferenece: what will we have to do in order to ensure that all those who are not connected today get a real opportunity to participate in our knowledge society.

Anyway, once finished, our group made it's way back to the booth to draw the conclusions of the conference ... and surprise, surprise.... half of our booth was already dismantled, Lize's computer charger went missing and EVERYBODY had gone! So Telecentre-Europe was indeed the last one to leave the conference. I would like to think that similarly, we will be the last ones to give up and the last ones to leave the digital inclusion scene ....

I will be putting my notes from that workshop here in the next day or so. For me the workshop had some really great input and I hope that the output will be valuable to all. Give me 24 hours and it will be here!
